Sony adding directional rumble to new PS3 controller

One of the major gripes about the Playstation 3 is that Sony decided to ditch the rumble that was present in the PS2 controller, instead sticking in a half-baked motion-sensing apparatus. Well, it looks like they've finally listened to the fans out there and have decided to make the rumble even better on their upcoming controller.
The new Sixaxis brings back the rumble… with a vengeance. Sony's gone ahead and made the rumble directional, meaning that if you're playing, say, Killzone 2 and something explodes to your right, only the right side of the controller will vibrate. Sounds cool to us.
