Slanket makes the traditional blanket more efficient

slanket.jpg

It only took thousands of years for the blanket to finally receive a much needed upgrade. Cavemen used drape themselves with the skins of the animals they hunted for warmth, but now the blanket has taken one step forward with the invention of the Slanket, or a sleeved blanket.

The Slanket addresses one of the biggest problems plaguing blanket users — the ability to efficiently use your hands while under said blanket. The remote only works half the time from under a traditional blanket, and good luck trying to play video games or even munch on some snacks while huddled under a blanket.

The Slanket comes loaded up with two large sleeves where the arms can still stay warm while being productive and efficient. Additionally, the Slanket measures in at an enormous 95-inches by 60-inches, or large enough to keep even the biggest of elephants cozy. The Slanket is available for $45, just in time for the blistering cold winter season (take that, Al Gore).
