I'll admit, when I first saw these remote controlled trench compactors, I thought they were toys. And I guess they kind of are, but for construction workers. While not as imposing as their larger cousins, the mini trench compactors are surprising complex. Steered by joysticks, they also have features that fit the safety-conscious venue of a construction site, such as automatically switching off when the controller is within five feet of the unit (so no feet are flattened). Also, I can't remember any RC toys in recent memory that had several diesel engines inside.
If you want to get one of these for yourself, I imagine you should look into working for the construction industry.
