Ready for the commute to the office? Just unbuckle your seatbelt, turn around and — voilà! — you're only a few steps away, your office attached to the rear of the van and all. Driving to the work site, I suppose, is another matter.
The Nissan NV200 concept vehicle is designed for people who find themselves working all over the place. The rear of the cubicle-on-wheels slides out and, as if by magic, the driver has a roomy office space to step into and exterior storage areas that are fully customizable. At the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, for example, Nissan decked out the NV200 to be an ocean photographer's dream come true, with snorkels, flippers, an editing station and the like. Nissan hopes the NV200 will be attractive to those who use light commercial vehicles.

This is actually a useful concept. Everyone from on-site computer tech support to mobile CSI mini-labs.

Once again, Japan out-thinks U.S. Auto makers...no surprise, UAW is more concerned about making more money for themselves now than keeping the American auto industry in business. As well, it just shows that American auto makers engineers are lacking in imagination and keep making the same junk over and over again. Kind of junk that gives out in ten years...which makes the UAW happy...see that vicious circle in U.S. Auto making??!! Quality over quantity every time.

An almost Buck Rogers vehicle with multiple applications. It seems that bpeters comment on UAW influence on AAM (American Auto Manufactures) lack of creativity is off the mark. The UAW is a response to capitalism and american politics. I don't think the UAW ever had any input into the concept design of any vehicle. If the AAM had responded to the VW bug better than the Corvair (See Unsafe at Any Speed Chapter 1 "That Sporty Little Corvair") forign car companies would have had a hard time making inroads into the Ameican market. As it is creativity in AAM is a lot like Hollywood's creativity almost non-existant.
I could see this vehicle as a moble recording studio and it would be a lot more fuel efficient than the Stones bus.
