If your eyes were already wide with wonder after seeing a car that could pass as a jellybean or this other buggy with a robotic buddy inside just like the taxicabs in Total Recall, hopefully you can open them just a bit wider for the Mazda Taiki, pictured above, and all of the other fantastic concepts down below in the gallery.
The Mazda Taiki is one of the many slick concept cars that will grace the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show floor. It's built for speed and minimal eco-impact and may very well find itself on the racetracks of tomorrow. Aesthetically, the Taiki's dramatic, windswept curves are supposed to impart the movement of air around the vehicle as it zips along. Besides the Taiki, some of the other upcoming designs focus on the compact industrial models that are so important amidst Tokyo's cramped streets. Then there are even crazier concepts such as Suzuki's Sustainable Mobility vehicle, which has an one-person pod-like car that fits into the rear of a larger van.
We may not see any of these in the wild anytime soon, but they sure are a marvel to behold.

Maybe by the time my RX-8 is ready to be upgraded, I could get a Mazda Taiki.
