Have you ever been to one of those homes where all of the living room furniture is wrapped in neatly fitted clear plastic slipcovers? The designer of the Matias iPhone Armor must have grown up in a home like that, because all I see is a beautiful, sleek iPhone locked away in an ugly-ass metal box. At 1.3 ounces, it adds about 30 percent to the weight, plus a little girth to the already not-so-svelte naked device. The current "sale" price of $20 seems reasonable enough, though I'm guessing that Matias will slash that in half in about two months. — Michael Trei
