No longer will the run-of-the-mill street performer have to lug around a heavy and awkwardly shaped keyboard. Infinite Response has answered the calls of those traveling musicians with the Vax 77 keyboard. This keyboard has two features going for it that will take away some of the hassles of traveling with an instrument. First — it weighs in at 25 pounds, which is roughly half the weight of traditional keyboards. The second, and debatably cooler feature is the ability to fold the Vax 77 in half. You may have cracked a few keyboard in half during your death metal phase, but the VAX 77 can legitimately fold in half for easy carrying and easy overheard bin storage.
Infinite Response also has the audiophile in mind by outfitting the Vax 77 with high-end audio features such as polyphonic aftertouch and digital signal-processing algorithms, whatever the heck those may be. There is no word on pricing or availability, but according to the manufacturer's page — this keyboard has received an overwhelming response, so I would only assume that manufacturing is imminent.
