Digidesign MBox 2 Micro puts a digital sound studio in your pocket

It's pretty amazing the range of things that fit in your pocket these days — like a full digital sound studio. About the size of a flash drive, the MBox 2 Micro comes loaded with the popular Pro Tools LE sound mixing software and a bevy of plug-ins provided by Digidesign, which is a division of media software purveyor Avid. The MBox 2 Micro also has a headphone jack and a volume control wheel.
This would be incredibly handy for traveling industry professionals who don't have a sound station anywhere nearby, but could find a free computer. At just $280, it might even be attractive for small bands who want to mix their concert audio on the road after a show.
