Cone-shaped Kone vacuums are too pretty to hide in the laundry room

Kone-by-Karim-Rashid.jpg

We initially thought that the pictures above were of a concept design that might never be cost-effective enough to produce. In fact, Dirt Devil has been selling these multi-colored cone-shaped vacuums for just over a year. The minimalist traffic-barrier-shaped dust busters were created by acclaimed designer Karim Rashid. They have garnered fairly positive reviews, and are far more attractive than other hand vacuums in the same price range.

They're not robots, but these dunce cap-shaped cleaning tools may impress your neighbors as much as if they were, for less than half the price. Though their original price tag was $60, this year you can pick one up for around $30
