If you rely on a projector but hate the associated clutter that goes with the territory (the bulk of the unit itself on top of having to lug your laptop and hookups around), you might want to check out Toshiba's TDP-PX10 projector. It won't fit in your pocket but, weighing in at only 2.8 pounds, the PX10 won't cause any strain either.
Besides being light, the PX10 enables you to leave everything else at home. Got a thumb drive? Plug it directly into the projector for PC-free presentations. For its size, the PX10 still manages to display a bright, DLP color enhanced image, work with high def and digital television inputs, and project at a modest native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. In other words, it's not going to find a place in your home theater setup — the PX10 offers utility over power. Out now, $1,000 bucks is just a tad more than I'd personally want to pay for the PX10, but this is certainly a projector to consider if you think it might suit your needs.
