We won't even try and pretend that the news wasn't all Apple all the time this week. Besides unveiling not one, not two, but three new iPods — including one with all the cool features of the iPhone — the company went ahead and dropped the price of the iPhone by $200. We being early adopters, we were a little annoyed at that, but then Steve Jobs gave us $100 back and now we're a little calmer. Just hope the Apple Store starts selling Ambien.
In light of the new iPods, columnist Stewart Wolpin took a fresh look at the iPhone, examining if it really is the breakthrough gadget it was hyped to be — and uncover a couple of issues that are only apparent after playing with it for a couple of months.
