HP unveils Voodoo Envy M:152 gaming laptop

Like to play PC games? Like to play PC games when you're on the road? Like to play PC games on the road on a glossy, brightly colored laptop that screams, "Steal me"? Then you're the exact customer HP is targeting with its latest Voodoo Envy gateway laptop. Boasting the latest in Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Envy M:152 has a 15.4-inch screen with 1,680 x 1,050-pixel resolution. It weighs in at a manageable 7 pounds and is just 1.7 inches thick — not bad for a notebook with this kind of power and supposedly runs both quiet and cool.

HP was showing off the M:152 today in New York, hooking it up to a sit-down gaming rig running a racing game. Trying it out, I saw that the Voodoo managed to keep up with my, uh, creative driving, with nice, stable video and no delayed reactions. Not bad, though I wouldn't mind seeing how it would do editing HD video. The Envy M:152 is available now in multiple colors, starting at $3,310.

I think is super cool and fast... but its to dam expensive. w/ that price tage you could build the ultimate gaming desktop including a tetra Hard Drive and the latest video card. if i should waist that kind of money i want something that i could upgrade or change later on. with a laptop kant do my friends, think about it a laptop or easy upgrade later on in the future if you want.
