WowWee and DreamWorks are teaming up to bring Barry B. Benson, alliterative star of the upcoming Bee Movie, off the screen and into our airspace. We're not talking balsa wood at the mercy of the wind — this thing really soars.

FlyTech Barry B. Benson utilizes the same technology behind WowWee's FlyTech Dragonfly (pictured after the jump). The remote's two control sticks allow you to adjust Barry's speed and direction, and the dual-wing design enables some crazy aerobatics — from simple gliding to wild banking. WowWee claims their bee is crash-resistant, which is good to hear as Barry can reach speeds of up to 18 miles per hour. Watch your head! Barry is due out in stores in October for $50. — Kevin Hall
