Got an older monitor sitting around in your closet? Chances are pretty good that you might be able to pull it out of retirement as a secondary display using one of DisplayLink's docking stations or adapters. Some desktop computers and laptops include video cards that are powerful enough to support multiple displays at once, but a lot don't. If you're stuck in the second camp, all you need is a free USB port. DisplayLink has teamed up with Kensington to offer the sd200v Notebook Docking Station that will take the stress of multiple displays away from your machine's graphics processing unit and allow laptop users to easily utilize a second display. The dock is out now and available for $140.

DisplayLink also showed us the LG FlatronWide L206WU 20-inch monitor which comes with DisplayLink's technology already inside. An L206WU just needs to be plugged into a free USB port, installed, and then you quickly have yourself a second or third display. The benefit of the L206WU over another monitor is that it doesn't rely on your computer to sort out the extra display.
