12-sided subwoofer is nerdiest home theater component ever

dodecasub.jpg

This might be the ultimate addition to any serious nerd's home theater setup. Not only is it a ridiculous subwoofer, with ten speakers angled in different directions, but it's shaped like a 12-sided die. Yes, it's the dorkiest shape in existence, thanks to Dungeons & Dragons. Whether or not you love or hate this thing should say a lot about how many girls you talked to in high school.

For nerds of the audiophile variety, the sub pumps out 600 watts per driver for an impressive total of 6,000 watts of bass. That's a lot of bass. Despite the completely dorky shape, it'll rattle more windows than the manliest of subwoofers, if the specs are to be believed. And that's what really counts.

Adam frucci, you are such a conformist douche bag who knows nothing about the way people think at all. Why does every one of your reviews have to be injected with a false disposition of social superiority over people you claim to be so much cooler than? It only reveals the fact that you yourself got absolutely no girls in school and were the one everyone picked on, which explains why you are now over-compensating for it by callinganything that looks slightly outside the norm 'geeky' or whatever other over-used word you conjure up to describe your own subconscious mental condition of inferiority. Who cares what something looks like? Why does everything have to look like it came off the same assembly line? Are you trying to bring us closer to that orwellian vision in 1984? It's okay, we're not in highschool any more buddy, no one's picking on you anymore, you can stop, look at things objectively and move forward in the healing process. Okay?
