We told you about the new Xbox 360 Messenger add-on way back in April, but Microsoft has just now decided to let us know the pricing and release date. It'll hit stores next week for the price of $30.

The keyboard attachment is designed to let people chat with friends using MSN Messenger from within Xbox Live, which should be infinitely easier than trying to type using an onscreen keyboard and thumbsticks. How annoying it will be to get IMs when you're trying to play Bioshock? Well, that's another issue entirely. — Adam Frucci
