Economy fliers may finally have our chance to snooze on an Airbus. Lufthansa, the German airline, recently ran an online questionnaire asking passengers if they'd welcome a chance to stretch out in a horizontal bunk on the Airbus A380. "The first results have been very positive," said a spokeswoman.
Instead of being lined up in horizontal seats, passengers would be stacked vertically from floor to ceiling. Each side of the plane would have three bunks with two more in the middle aisle. The side aisles line up sleepers diagonally in a herringbone pattern. British newspapers immediately seized on this, calling it "kipper class." Herringbone, kipper, kip — get it?
Of course, first-class and business-class passengers have made their bed and lain in it for years. But vertical stacking would bring the luxury of a totally horizontal lie-down to economy class. If snoring keeps you awake, don't forget to bring your noise-cancelling headphones.

The email about the hyperbike and the delorean has a link for the medusa cannon. The medusa cannon link links to this article, which seems very different. Plus, I can't seem to find the original article that it was supposed to be linked to.
