USB Greenhouse will add at least a little life to your cubicle

USB-GREENHOUSE.jpgDo you have a green thumb yet are constantly tethered to a computer? Do you yearn for the sweet, oxygen-providing presence of a plant in your florescent-tinged cubicle? I feel your pain. Well, you don't need to work in a garden to enjoy plants. As long as you've got a computer with a USB port, you can turn your desk into a veritable forest of life.

Just grab yourself one of these USB greenhouses, which come complete with seeds and artificial soil. Plug it into your computer, and the light above will turn on and give your plants the juice they need to grow. Sure, it's no substitute for a real garden, but what do expect? You're trapped in a cubicle, you poor sucker.

Um...as if working under the flashing flourescents isn't enough...is it really necessary to expose our bodies to synthetic UV radiation?????

If your flourescents are flashing you need to replace them. Besides that, the UV might be nice, it's not like it would be enough to do any damage (it's only pulling power from the USB after all) and might give you a little color instead of being pasty white. Plus, think of all the shift workers and such, studies have claimed sunlight (even artificial) actually helps people stay sane and productive, I'm surprised the corporate overlords haven't made these mandatory yet.
