The Fatman iTube Mothership comprises three parts: the Controlroom preamplifier, which supports three line inputs and one phono (turntable to you young'ins) input, and two Engineroom Mono Block amplifiers. All those tubes have to be good for something, and the company claims the amplifiers — which deliver 200 watts per channel — will make your music sound rich and smooth. No word on what the Mothership does to your compressed iPod music, but if you have $9,800 burning a hole in your pocket, pick one of these up and let us know how it sounds.
