There are few things worse than deleting something only to realize a few minutes later that you really, really needed it. But once it's gone, for the most part, it's gone, and it's not coming back. This Tempo concept device is an external "recycle bin" that sits outside your computer and holds all your deleted files. That way, you can clear stuff off your hard drive, but if you realize you need it back it's right there for easy retrieval.
It's a nice idea, but aren't there better uses for an external 250-GB hard drive? I mean, you've got to assume that 99.999% of the stuff on it would be files you have no use for, which is why you deleted them in the first place. Why not just get a normal 250-GB external drive and use it for backup daily? That way, if you delete something you can just pull it from yesterday's backup. Seems to make a lot more sense to me, but I'm no gadget designer, so what do I know?
