Sony unleashes a big pile of Bravia HDTVs

braviaxseries.jpg

Sony unveiled a whole slew of new Bravia HDTVs today, including a monster 70-inch flagship that'll cost you nearly $35,000. For that money, you get RGB LED backlighting for the deepest blacks possible and 120-Hz motionflow for crisp action without blurriness. But hey, the smaller models aren't too shabby either.

They're releasing three new lines: X, W and V. The X line is the highest-end one, featuring that 70-incher all the way down to a 40-incher for $3,136. The W and V lines are a bit more modest, ranging in size from 52 inches to 40 inches. They're hitting Japanese shores first, with no word yet as to when they're coming out here.
