Getting a nice panoramic photo, especially a 360-degree panorama, can be tough. You have to try to eyeball it, holding the camera steady while you spin around, and then you need to have the skills to adequately stitch the pictures together in Photoshop. It's almost not worth it.
This concept camera makes the whole process a lot easier, just resting on a flat surface and rolling around in a circle, automatically snapping pictures and stitching them together. It takes all of the messy guesswork out of the process, leaving you with perfect panoramas every time. It's a pretty neat idea, but you'd need to be really into taking 360-degree shots to want a camera dedicated to doing only that.
