New Timex watch can control your iPod, tell time

timex-ironman.jpgThis new Timex Ironman does basic watch stuff like tell time, light up, and act as a stopwatch, but it also has another feature that makes it stand out from all other watches: it'll control your iPod. By plugging a 2.4GHz transmitter to your iPod, the fancy watch will wirelessly control your music, allowing you to keep your music player hidden away in your pocket at all times.

It's a pretty neat feature, one that people who don't like busting their expensive gadgets out in crowded places like subways will be sure to like. Hopefully that wireless connection is strong enough to ensure that you music sounds just as good as if you had a wired hookup, however.
