Working outside always seems like it'd be a good idea to me, what with having a laptop and all, but once you get out there you realize that the outside just wasn't designed to be an office. The sun often makes reading your laptop screen next to impossible, and there's a definite lack of power outlets out there. Why couldn't have mother nature thought of the office drones?
Well, just because sitting on a rock in a field isn't conducive to working doesn't mean there's no way to comfortably work in the great outdoors. Check out this Mobile Workspace for Public Spaces, for example. It shields you from the wind and the sun while you're sitting outside, and it has a solar cell installed on the roof that'll power your laptop. It's the kind of thing that could be placed in parks that would greatly increase the number of people working outside. Let's get on it, NYC Parks Department.
