Ever since the iPhone was released, legions of hackers and tinkerers have been racing to see who could unlock and modify the much-hyped device first. Well, it looks like someone might have gotten the somewhat-coveted prize, as the ability to videoconference on the iPhone has just been unveiled.

Sure, it'll take a lot of know-how and a strange periscope-like device to do it, but it's possible. The hack was unveiled this past weekend at the C-4 Developer Conference, where it won the Iron Coder's First Prize. In order to get it working, you need the Huckleberry Mirror, which the coders are selling. It uses mirrors to get the camera on the back of the phone pointing in the right direction. It's a bit bulky, sure, but now that the iPhone isn't as exclusive as when you first got it you've gotta stand out from the crowd somehow, right? — Adam Frucci
