Floating Key Buoy prevents drunken summer headaches

key_buoy.jpgSummer may be dwindling down, but that doesn't mean the fun and festivities on the lake or ocean aren't over. And where there's fun, there's usually drinking and drunken shenanigans, with stuff inadvertently going overboard. The Key Buoy is a small device that attaches to a keychain and inflates when the buoy when surrounded entirely in water. It then magically floats your keys up to the surface. It can rescue up to 4.2 ounces of keys (keychain junkies are not recommended) and includes a bright orange flag for easy detection.

The Key Buoy is available for $9.90 and can be a lifesaver on any water outing. You know, people really wouldn't need this if they could only not act like drunken jackasses on vacations, but then again, there's no chance of that ever happening. Or perhaps Masterlock should get on the ball with making hollow, floating keys (come on, it's a million-dollar idea), but until that happens you'll just have to cough up $10 per use for a floating key buoy.
