Child SUV comes standard with parental controls to ruin all the fun

kiddie_suv.jpg

I clearly remember a certain ominous, all-powerful presence that lorded over my early years — or mother, if you prefer — who would deny any request outright for motorized buggies. Instead I was stuck with a barbaric, Flintstones-like plastic carriage that was powered entirely by my little legs. Well, this electric, two-seater child's SUV might have been enough to tip the scales in my favor, what with its parent-adjustable speeds and over-the-shoulder safety harnesses.

The Super Powered Ride-On tops out at just over 7 miles per hour, though parents can lock its speed at two lower settings if they are worried that's a tad fast. The SUV has a horn, a working radio, and even a glove compartment. Luckily, your children won't be entering the harsh reality of pricey gas just yet: the SUV's two batteries keep it going after 18 hours of charging. That won't help your wallet any, though, as the vehicle goes for around $1,000.
