We're big fans of people creating livable homes in the places you'd least expect, which is why we love this old water tower converted into a modern residence in the Netherlands. It doesn't look like the coziest of homes from the outside, does it? Well, follow me after the jump to see some pictures of the surprisingly posh inside.
The eight-floor home has one room per floor, which might get annoying if you need to use the bathroom on the fifth floor and are hanging out on the second floor, but I suppose those are the things you learn to deal with when living in a crazy converted water tower. Now we just need to see a home built in one of those gigantic water tanks that are suspended on four poles. That would be something.

that would suck.
I hope they have left over money, cause everything they buy will have to be custom made with the curve of the wall, picture frames, cabinets, you name it.
If you going through all the hassel of living in a "tube", at least pick something cool, like a missile silo or something.

Ah i think this water tower looks awesome. With some modifications it could look like a fortress. Boom.
But i don't like the colors used. This modern designs tend to use two opposite colors and think they combine something nice. Well it sure looks nice, but the feeling you get is more like you would live in a hospital. creepy. They should use warmer colors for the inside.
