The Bang & Olufsen Serene is one of the most overpriced phones out there, with a jaw-dropping price tag of $1,300. They probably haven't sold all too many at that price, but that isn't going to stop them from releasing a new model with what we can only assume will be an even more astronomical price tag.
This little picture is rumored to be the upcoming Serene II, and it certainly looks to be designed "uniquely" enough to live up to that branding. What's on the inside? Rumor has it we can expect a high-speed UMTS/HSDPA connection, a 240 x 240-pixel touchscreen, 4 GB of internal memory, and an MP3 player. Nice, but nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly not features worthy of a certain-to-be four-figure price tag.
