I know that powering devices via USB is all the rage these days, but don't you think we're taking it a bit too far when we're using it to power things that didn't need power in the first place? I mean, take a look at this USB-powered "E-lighter." Has there ever been a product that's more useless than this?

The whole point of product design is to come up with something that improves upon what we already have. How does taking a lighter, making it gigantic, and forcing it to be plugged into a computer an improvement? Who would prefer this over a regular butane lighter? Why do bad things happen to good people? Why are there so many questions and so few answers? I need a drink. — Adam Frucci
