After you've taken your power nap in a cocoon-like EnergyPod, stay semi-reclined and get some power computing done in this Snowcrash Netsurfer, a hyper-engineered chair from the future that's available now. It's designed to keep your display at eye level, and evenly distributes your body weight, supported by strategically-placed pillows.
The chair's designers took ergonomic cues from motorcycle design with the Netsurfer, and determined that the semi-reclined position your body takes while driving a chopper is the most comfortable and efficient for computing, too. Too bad this comfy chair is priced closer to a small motorcycle than an ordinary desk chair, setting you back $4300 for the privilege of owning one.
The company's name, apparently a tip of the hat to sci fi novelist Neal Stephenson's outstanding book Snow Crash, further entices us, especially since we're cyberpunks who are already sold on semi-reclined computing.
