Slide your outlets along the wall with Eubiq

eubiq.jpg

Here's one of those inventions that makes you wonder why no one thought of it before: movable outlets. Don't you hate wanting to plug something in and the only outlet is a few feet from where you want it to be, requiring you to move furniture or have a dangling cord?

Well, with the Eubiq power system, you just slide the outlets along nearly 12 feet of track to wherever you want them. It'll let you bring an outlet out from behind your bed to charge a gadget, then you can slide it back and hide it when you're done. Clearly it would be a difficult setup to install in a current home or apartment, but if you're planning on building your own house in the future this should be something you keep your eye on.

This would be exceptionally nice if two things were taken into an account: child safety, and the need to place outlets on different circuits.

And you'll get rid of most extenders, that you might have..
The only worries I have is it stable, is there ground and what about dirt?
