Apparently, flying saucers are the future of eco-friendly vehicles. Who knew? While highways being full of hover saucers might not be happening anytime soon, some aeronautical engineers envision airports loading passengers up into flying saucers and sending them off into the air. Apparently, the age of tube aircraft with wings is coming to an end.
Right now air travel accounts for 3% of carbon emissions worldwide, but that figure stands to rise to 5% if planes aren't redesigned to be more efficient. Apparently, ditching the wings and throwing flying saucers into the air will help do that. I'm no scientist, but I do know that it would be pretty cool if the airplanes we know now disappeared and were replaced with what basically look like spacecraft from another galaxy.

Impressive... especially when this graphic image resembles a 'UFO' I witnessed flying and manuver-ing acrobatically and with great eaze over the City of San Dimas, Calif. around 8:50pm on the night of 11-11-2007... This object, for what I observed as nothing more than a traffic-helicopter from a distance which seemed to be coming from the local mountain range over the City of Glendora, Calif. was heading southward and fairly parallel with the 57 Frwy., as I was driving northward to go home... I didn't think anything other than this object as being your common traffic-helicopter--UNTIL--This object which by now was just over to my left-side in
the sky had all-of-a-sudden thrusted upward and to it right--like a jet does as it's banking a hard turn--I could see clearly and unmistakably, a brightly-illuminated bluish-white ring on its
underside with a very-small area illuminating a
redish glow (what the...?) this object was now
performing spiral-loops and turns followed with sharp virtical climbs and dives--WOW--Amazed by what I was seeing I quickly exited the Frwy. and driven to a Target Store parking-lot where I had continued to watch this amazing specticle--by now this object had flew a distance of about a mile and a half now south of me... what amazes me is
as this object continued to grace the night sky,
nobody as of yet has made any mention of this
spectacular incident; not the newspapers; not the
local television news stations; or anyone else?
Why?? Especially since this object was now flying
over Cal Poly Tech University which is surounded
by two heavily traffic Frwys.(57&10 ?!) Nobody?!
One consolation and of which I take comfort is,
this event was also witnessed by one security patrol guard of the Target Store lot, which he also witnessed with much amazement. In closing,
my belief is that this object or craft may have
come from either Edwards Air Force Base, which
is about 40 miles north and over the mountains,
or from JPL Jet Propulsion Labratories, or say
Cal Poly Tech University itself--and why not??
I mean after all, they all may be in kahoots?!
BUT--Your secret's safe with me... ;-)
( To Infinity! And Beyond!! )
Keep up the great work, guys... Raymond ;-]
