Why should people learn new technologies when they can just stubbornly stick to using antiquated devices? The computer-averse who are married to their typewriters are missing out on a lot, but with the 22 Pop Email Typewriter at least they can still write emails… sort of.
The fancy typewriter allows for luddites to write emails on a typewriter using a special template. In order to send, they simply yank the paper out. I'm not sure how to discard a message without sending, but I guess if they were really worried about that kind of functionality they could just buy a damned computer already. It can also receive emails, apparently, although how exactly that's done is unclear.
