Easy Walk makes exercise a lazy, lazy experience

easywalk.jpg

The annoying thing about exercise machines is how they always make you put some effort in. Why can't anyone design an exercise machine that lets me work out without actually exerting any energy? I'm a lazy man, but that doesn't mean I want to be unhealthy.

Ah, here we go. The "Raku Raku Walk" (Easy Walk) from Panasonic seems to be right up my alley. Technically, it's a piece of exercise equipment, but it lets you sit down while you use it, and it seems next to impossible to break a sweat on the thing. You just sit on it and it moves your legs a little bit, keeping you from having knee problems in the future. Oh, yeah, that's why I don't exercise… I'm worried about my knees. Yep, that's it.

While this really does seem ridiculous and you can see people using it for ridiculous reasons, I can also honestly see this helping people with arthritis or other knee problems. My mom has rheumatoid arthritis and something like this probably could help her out a bit. I'm sure it sounds silly, but it's true.
