Since most paperwork these days involves at least some mucking around on a PC, it makes sense to assume that any shredding you need to do would be going on at the same time. That seems to be the logic behind this USB-powered shredder from Brando, which, given the proliferation of ridiculous USB gadgets, didn't really need to try that hard to justify its existence.

The handheld shredder does one better than that other USB shredder we saw a while back, since it can free itself from its tether and go totally portable with four AA batteries.
