Although the iPhone threatened to swallow all other gadget news that crossed its event horizon, the technology world kept turning this week, and we caught sight of plenty of other gadgets cool enough to steal the iPhone's spotlight — at least for a few seconds here and there. In PC news, first there was Dell's sleek XPS laptop, and later we gave a thorough look at Samsung's Q1 Ultra UMPC. There was the Batcycle-esque solar motorcycle as well as the wild 4cycle zero-emissions machine. To top it off, our columnist, S.E.
