Taser robot won't take any crap from anyone
What do you get when you combine a robotic vacuum cleaner and a taser? You get automated pain, that's what. Roomba-maker iRobot, Inc. and Taser have been hard at work on a less family-friendly robot for police and the military, and it sure as hell won't clean your floors.
The trackwheeled robots will be able to roll into dangerous situations and subdue the bad guys without putting cops or soldiers in harms way. At least in theory: I'm not sure how many criminals will stand there and wait for a tiny robot to roll up and zap them, but hey, I'm sure it'll catch some of them.

With the way things are going these days with young gangbang punks and the older criminals who have not learned to respect their elders and athority figures I really think that a robot like this is the future of law enforcement. The robot can go in first and if the criminal does not give them self up for questioning it can subdue the scums before the police come in. The technology will have to be more advanced and be able to truly interact and judge any true threat to a living officer of the law. I am all for making it easier and safer for all police... "The Good Guys" Hopefully there will be a model out there for the average "Good" Citezen someday...
