It's amazing, the things people can't do without when there's no power. People insist on bringing any matter of gadgets with them out into the wild wilderness when they go camping or merely out to the backyard away from power outlets.

But a blender? A freaking blender? Come on people. Do you really need to make smoothies and margaritas that badly? This blender, while it's meant to be used away from outlets, at least doesn't require a battery or solar panel or something equally stupid. Its saving grace is the fact that it's human-powered, running via crank. So yeah, fine, go ahead and make smoothies in the woods, but don't even think about calling your activities "roughing it." — Adam Frucci
