For those wanting to make Flickr or Google image surfing fun and easy, PicLens has released a plug-in for Firefox and Safari that let's you flip through photos full-screen instead of the awful tiny postage stamp size, which makes it nearly impossible to tell what you are looking at.
For Google and Yahoo Image searches PicLens, simply perform a search, then hover the pointer over the image to reveal the PicLens button, click and you are in image surfing bliss. All images are displayed full size, and you can quickly jump to the web page in question without exiting the plug-in interface. Flickr fans are in for a treat too, as you can flip through dozens of images quickly, instead of using the lame Next/Previous button. PicLens works with a lot of web-based photo albums (Facebook, Friendster, Picasa, Media RSS feeds), and can also playback the results in slideshow mode for your stalking enjoyment. Did I mention it's free, and runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux OS?
