Mosquitoes are the worst. The scourge of the summer, the flying pests can ruin an otherwise perfectly lovely barbecue or picnic with their biting and swarming and general nastiness. You can always wear mosquito repellent, but it's gross and stinky. There's got to be a better way!

I'm not sure that there is, but this Mosquito Shield claims that it's the solution to this age-old problem. It's a tiny device that contains cartridges of Geriniol, a "natural, chemical-free odor that has been field-tested to repel mosquitoes." You can clip it to your belt and apparently the bugs will steer clear of your stank. Does it work? Who knows, but for $20 it might just be worth a shot. — Adam Frucci
