If you grew up in the '60s, Robot B9 from the series Lost in Space might have provided your first impression of exactly how a robot is supposed to look. Now you can have a licensed replica of that robot, warning of danger and generally making a lot of noise, right there in your own home.

The makers of these Robot B9 replicas went to great pains to capture the spirit of the mechanical robot character appearing in that 40-year-old space opera, and each full-size robot is meticulously accurate down to its animated robot brain, spinning ear sensors, flailing arms, and that unforgettable cry, "Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!" However, it's not able to roll around, nor is it capable of all the various spark-shooting mayhem of the Robot B9 in the TV series. One more pic of that bubble-headed booby, after the jump.

Unlike many of the creepy robots we've been seeing lately from Japan, this one is not as autonomous as the original B9—you activate its antics with a five-button keychain remote control. Its 240-watt stereo sound system can play back more than 500 voice tracks in the original voice of Robot B9, played by series narrator Richard Tufeld.
