With the launch a mere 11 days away, iPhone fever is reaching frenzied levels. Adding fuel to the fire is Apple, who just announced that the iPhone will be getting a nice glass screen as opposed to the plastic previously announced. Also, the talktime of the battery has been boosted to 8 hours from the paltry 5 that was initially specified.
Will these revelations push fence-sitters onto Apple's side? Perhaps, but I somehow doubt many people were holding out for a glass screen. I'd say more people are holding out for the things I am: 3G connectivity, GPS, and a bigger hard drive for holding music. But hey, a glass screen is cool too.

I'm actually pretty sick of this Apple bashing blog. I used to subscribe to it because it had informative info on new technologies and fun "never-gonna-happen-in-our-lifetime" gizmos. Now it's just this guy (Adam Fruiti) making little jabs at Apple and comparing them against every other company. I don't ever see them making little jabs at other innovative products.
I guess it might be somewhat flattering to Apple as a company. I mean, this guy and the other writer from this blog seem obsessed with Apple products - whether or not they like them - they give them more press.

A glass screen? Well I'd end up breaking it, due to my being a dumb donkey. But if you are going to get it then take care of it. Damn thing looks like a total blurring of the lines in progress.

It amazes me that with all the fantastic innovations that Apple have been a leader with I am disappointed that they didn't produce a 3G phone straight off!
Then again the US is lagging behind other countries with 3G networks thus they meet the American consumer rather than the Global consumers.
Pull finger Apple, cool as the iPhone may be the rest of the world(3 billion+) are just about all on 3G ..... catch up so that we will ALL buy it!

All this innovation and the camera gets no flash? This is the "Do-it-all" device the world has been wating for? And no flash for the camera is about as smart as Sony "Walkman" phone with no Flash, bluetooth stereo audio streaming or controls(W810i). Then again if you did that you take away from the lucrative obtrusive preriperal i-market sector. you've already crammed all this other stuff in there, don't be lame and make the camera fully functional.
