Compenion: The laptop from 2015

compenion_1.jpg

The Compenion is a sleek concept laptop designed by Felix Schmidberger. It certainly looks like the kind of portable PC we might be carrying around in 2015, made more futuristic by its OLED touchscreen, which serves as both monitor and keyboard. You can tap away by hand or use the "senstylus" pen to control it, and through a series of docking stations the Compenion will adapt to the environment where you're using it. For example, the home dock might have a projector for viewing video, while the office might include ergonomic stuff like an external keyboard.

As cool as smartphones are, laptops certainly aren't going away, so the Compenion makes a decent case for next-gen mobile computing. Between its sleekness, the OLED touchscreen and innovative modular concept, it's got a lot to going for it. Not sure about that name, though, Felix.

I'll take 5 of them tho I doubt we will see a see a "Real" working and consumer ready model maybe 5 years after the "2015 Date" they are stating.

Then again you never know.

Oh yes! So beautiful.
I'd love to see this in stores! To lessen on the publish date, skip the projector! It's perfect anyways!
Plus, I usually fiddle with a laptop when watching movies, so I wouldn't want my laptop to be occupied as a projector as soon as anyone in the family wants to see a flic!

A cable would do the job of synching up just as well and wouldn't commit Apple's design team to making sure the form factor of their future products fits the slot.

wonderful design

Wow, I really like the sleek design on it. It looks very light but also very professional. While not the first, the Mac Book Air is headed in the right direction. As technology improves,I wouldn't be surprised to see this kind of laptop by 2012.

Actually, almost all electronic device manufacturers do not produce the batteries used in the devices. They all have to be manufactured by outside battery manufacturers. Therefore, there's no difference in turns of quality and reliability. Our aim to provide the best quality and high-performance batteries to our customers, we have adjusted the batteries' internal resistance for more stable and more reliable. As a result, there will be a little bit difference in our batteries run-time comparing with the OEM batteries' (no more than 10%).

This is cool, looks good, has a lot of functionality, but this is still based on speculation of over 5 years.
