Do you like wine? Do you also like… danger? Well, I have the wine opener for you. It's the Air Pressure Wine Opener, and rather than using a corkscrew, it uses high pressure to pop the cork right out of the bottle. It works by shoving a needle through the cork and pumping the bottle full of air. When the pressure gets high, the cork pops out.
That, or the bottle breaks, or you shoot your eye out with a flying cork. See, this is why I play it safe: I drink my wine only from boxes or bottles with screw tops. It's not that I'm cheap, oh no. It's because I value my safety. But I am definitely too cheap to spend $28 on a wine opener, even if was the safest thing in the world.
