This week in SCI FI Tech

Screens, screens, everywhere! If humanity's ultimate goal is to have a screen parked in front of your face anytime and anywhere, it sure got a lot closer to achieving it this week. Some were welcome: iriver's Clix 2 and its new speaker dock actually make a cute couple, and who could ever say no to a Pioneer plasma TV? But this wristwatch video player is just lame, and as awesome as getting a free soda is, I don't know if I can get behind vending machines that show you ads. As for Samsung's supercalifragiportable PC, the Q1 Ultra, the jury's still out.

Between viewings, we took some time out to examine what a merger between XM and Sirius satellite radio would look like, and why apathy on the subject is at an all-time low.
