Why buy speakers that look conventional and will fit in nicely with your décor when you can buy some insane, over-stylized speakers that'll stick out like a sore thumb? That's what Sony's asking with their crazy Rin speakers.

The base of these speakers is Italian marble, as I guess better marble comes from Italy than elsewhere, and the sound is emitted in a way that resembles ripples on a pond, whatever that means. I expect it sounds good, but I also expect that it costs more than a compact car. Priorities, I guess. — Adam Frucci
