Many of us SCI FI gadgeteers are so distracted by Apple's iPod products that we hardly notice when a slim and nubile iriver multimedia player such as this second-gen Clix sashays by. Just look at this 2-GB bauble, all dressed up with its 2.2-inch touchscreen and built-in FM tuner — both features lacking in the Apple players. Why aren't iriver players more popular in the U.S. ?
Not only is the new Clix now available, but soon there'll be an attractive attachment that goes with it, this speaker dock that's just the Clix's size, and it only costs around $30. The little accessory is designed to put out a lot of sound and can also charge up a Clix player, too. The dock is due to hit the Korean market sometime this month, and that probably means it won't be long until it shows up on U.S. shores.
