Ever since the discovery of dinosaur bones, humans have had one simple desire: to watch dinosaur recreations in 3-D. It seems like such a basic request, but over time, the task has proved to be complex and frustrating. After all, nobody wants to wear goofy cardboard glasses at home. But now, a company called SeeReal Technologies says it can deliver the goods — the first holographic television for your home (it seems we've been using holographic televisions for sports security for quite some time).
The company claims that its televisions will broadcast holographic images, and that you won't have to sit directly in front of the screen to be able to see them. Though the company has filed more than 100 patents, it doesn't actually produce the consoles. With strategic partnerships, it claims that 3-D TVs could hit stores very soon. C'mon guys — if the technology already exists, then can't you show us a slightly less-Photoshopped picture?
