GlowFur lets you light up the dancefloor

glowfur.jpgBack in the day, to get past the notorious velvet rope at the front door of the legendary Studio 54, you had to be either a trendy celebrity or someone with an astonishing wow factor to add to the scene inside. If they had GlowFur back then, I'm sure even I would have found my golden ticket.

Using what are presumably LED bulbs in different colors, each garment can be lit up for as long as 10 hours on a set of batteries, more than enough for a long hard night of clubbing. They're even machine washable should a fellow clubber accidentally spill their martini after becoming dazzled by your glowing presence. Also, you PETA reps can rest easy — no animals were harmed in the creation of GlowFur. Garments run from about $80 for a bikini top, to around $800 for a full-length coat.
